Tippexed Sex is part of a series of graphic-literary experiments. The starting point is poetry and personal letters. The subject is the sexuality of women, but the voice of the woman is absent. The basic text for this work is a love letter by James Joyce. By tippexing away certain words in the text, she wants to introduce an active female and contemporary element. In addition she includes a photographic image representing female sexuality in the media. On those images, she also adds manual experiments in order to destabilize the glossy and perfect representation of women in their underwear.
